Torque meter is a combination of “torque” meaning torque and “meter” unit, which is technically meaningless. Here, meter is used as a measure of measurement (such as oil meter). And in Persian language, the word torque meter is usually used instead of torque wrench.
By the way, torque meter refers to those tools that are used to control and measure the amount of torque applied to screws or nuts when opening or closing them.
